Terms of Service

Last updated: July 7, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and Delegation Droid ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using Delegation Droid (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who can use the Service

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. The Service is designed for parents and guardians to manage chores and rewards for children in their household. Child profiles inside the app are managed by you and are not separate accounts.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your password confidential. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Subscriptions, trials, and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly through our payment processor (Stripe). New paid subscriptions include a 3-day free trial. You can cancel at any time before the trial ends to avoid being charged. After the trial, your card is charged monthly at the plan's listed price until you cancel. Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and exclude taxes where applicable. Refunds are handled case by case; contact us via the Help page.

4. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Service — for example, do not try to break, reverse engineer, or overload it; do not use it to violate anyone's rights; and do not upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the information you enter (children's first names, chores, rewards, etc.). You grant us a limited license to store and process that content to operate the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter.

6. AI features

Delegation Droid uses AI to suggest chores and assignments. Suggestions are provided "as is" and should be reviewed by a parent before being applied. We do not guarantee that AI output will be accurate or appropriate for every household.

7. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific needs.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you by email or in the app. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
